How to avoid stockouts cross-border

Stockouts are predictable: if sellable days, in-transit and POs are blind, ads keep spending into empty shelves.

The real stockout chain

It's not only 'warehouse hit zero'. Sellable days collapse, inbound is late, POs stall in approval, or platform vs local stock disagree — while ads still burn.

Unify three numbers

On-hand, in-transit, sellable (or days of cover). If they don't live in one place, people shout in chat. Safety thresholds should create tasks with owners.

Why chat groups fail

Who requested, who approved, who purchased, where cargo is — buried in messages. One person on leave breaks the chain; demand spikes cause either stockouts or overbuy.

How KeJing helps

Alerts when stock crosses safety lines; demand → approve → PO with records; in-transit visibility; separate dead-stock handling so you don't only push more inventory.

How to start

  1. 1

    Set thresholds

Per SKU / listing sellable days or qty.

  2. 2

    Task, don't shout

    Breaches create owned tasks.

  3. 3

    Track inbound

After PO, watch slow batches early.
